Multiple cold fronts coming through the Crossroads this week

VICTORIA, Texas – The weekend is going to be rainy, due to a cold front moving into the Crossroads on Sunday. The rain will start off slow on Saturday, with isolated showers possible and increasing cloud cover. High temperatures will reach into the upper 60s, and lows will only get down into the upper 50s as the rain begins to fall in the evening. Saturday night into Sunday will see the bulk of the rainfall and the front will pass through Sunday morning. Highs will get into the mid 70s, before plummeting into the upper 40s that evening.

The work week starts off on a milder note, with mostly sunny skies. Highs will reach the low 70s, showing us how much of nothing the cold front actually did. But there’s another cold front on the way! An upper level trough is going to bring through another cold front on Monday night that once again appears to do nothing temperature wise (this can change though). We will get some beneficial rainfall, which we need to come out of this drought.

Through mid-week, temperatures will remain in the upper 60s with isolated rain chances every day and lows dipping into the upper 40s at night.
