Mother Nature, I said fall not winter.
Sunday is still looking like it will be another hot day in the Crossroads. Temperatures will be around 90°F across the area with a slight chance for rain during the day, and a larger rain chance for the evening ahead of the cold front.
Monday, the long awaited cold front comes into the area, and you will not want to forget your rain gear. Because of instability, rain chances will be more widespread across the area, with locally heavy downpours possible. Highs will be in the mid 80s, and that night will be in the mid 50s for lows with some areas getting even cooler. After this, we will see mostly sunny skies for at least a few days with highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 60s.
Friday is when we are expecting our second cold front, and this one looks to be stronger than the first. We do have not as widespread rain chances as we do with the Monday one, but the temperature drop is seemingly bigger. Friday’s high will only get into the mid 70s, and lows will fall to 50 degrees. Saturday night looks even colder with a dip into the 40s. If you didn’t like this weekend, don’t worry, because it looks like next weekend will be the polar opposite (literally).
