Mostly Cloudy with Isolated Showers Overnight
Scattered Thunderstorms Persist on Friday
VICTORIA, Texas — Partly cloudy, hazy skies are giving way to developing showers and thunderstorms late this afternoon over the Crossroads. The storms are building along a weak frontal boundary that will become stationary this evening and serve as a focus for additional scattered showers and thunderstorms on Friday. Isolated showers linger for Saturday, but building upper level high pressure will shut down rain chances from late Saturday through Monday. Deep tropical moisture and instability returns Tuesday through Thursday, and will be good for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will generally be in the 90s, with lows in the 70s.
