Mostly Cloudy and Mild with Widespread Dense Fog Overnight

Friday Morning Cold Front but No Rain

Partly cloudy and mild to warm conditions prevailed late this afternoon as a south wind at 8 to 12 mph kept Gulf moisture in place over the Crossroads. The stable atmosphere does not support precipitation, but a return of widespread dense fog is anticipated for your overnight and early morning hours. Expect a cold front to arrive mid-morning on your Friday, clearing out the fog and shifting wind to the northwest at 10 to 18 mph. Skies will be fair to partly cloudy through the weekend, with chilly mornings and mild afternoons. Another cold front arrives Monday night and has strong upper level support, which will mean widespread clouds, rain and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will be 15 to 20 degrees lower as well, with highs only in the 60s and lows in the 40s. Scattered showers linger on Thursday.
