Mostly Cloudy and Mild; Overnight Fog; Shower Chances Tuesday
Mild through Midweek; Cold Air on the Way
VICTORIA, Texas — Persistent onshore flow has returned Gulf moisture and warmer temperatures to the Crossroads after a clear weekend with cool afternoons and crisp mornings. Expect the resurgent warmth and humidity to linger through midweek, interspersed with isolated showers Tuesday afternoon. Another strong cold front arrives Thursday afternoon, however, and will be associated with widespread thunderstorms and dramatically falling temperatures. Expect highs Friday to struggle to make 60 degrees with scattered showers and a strong north wind. Rain will not be a factor Friday night, but a cool Saturday is in store followed by a brief warmup on Sunday. Another cold front arrives Monday, bringing scattered thunderstorms and colder air. Highs will be near 80 Tuesday and Wednesday, dipping to the 60s to lower 70s thereafter. Lows remain in the lower 60s Wednesday, falling to the 40s and 50s thereafter.
