More than 5K votes cast as early voting continues in Victoria County

VICTORIA, Texas- As of July 7th, the Victoria County Elections Administrator reports that 5,261 Victorians have cast their vote during early voting, both in person and by mail.

Early voting continues today, July 8th from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The polls will be open on July 9th and 10th from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. The polling site is at the Dr. Pattie Dodson Public Health Center on 2805 Navarro Street in Classroom A.

The primary runoff election day is Tuesday, July 14th; polls will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In Texas, you must bring a form of ID to vote in person. Valid forms of ID include a driver’s license, personal ID card, license to carry a handgun, U.S. military ID, U.S. citizenship certificate, or U.S. passport.

Stay safe in the polling place:

  • Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before enter voting area.
  • Maintain 6 feet of physical distance between any other where possible.
  • Face coverings are recommended.
  • If possible, please use your own pen to check-in.
