More COVID-19 vaccines heading to the Crossroads
2,000 going to Victoria County Public Health Department
The state is sending more COVID-19 vaccines to the Victoria County Public Health Department next week.
Health department director David Gonzalez tells us they administered 2,400 COVID-19 vaccine first doses yesterday at their latest mega-hub. The state announced Friday it is sending 2,000 more Moderna vaccines to the health department next week, while its sending 600 Johnson & Johnson vaccines to local pharmacies, including to Walgreens for the first time. The state is also sending 100 Johnson & Johnson doses apiece to three different places in Port Lavaca. The Cuero Regional Hospital is getting 200 Moderna vaccines next week, while two other places there will get a total of 400 Johnson & Johnson vaccines. 100 Johnson & Johnson vaccines apiece are going to places in Edna and Ganado. Hallettsville is getting 100 Moderna doses.
