Moody Street and Rio Grande Street Reduced Beginning on June 2

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Beginning on Friday, June 2, 2017, the City will begin installing utilities on Moody Street from Forrest Street to Rio Grande Street. During the installations, the following streets will be closed for approximately 11 days, weather permitting:

· Moody Street – Reduced to one lane in each direction from Forrest Street to Rio Grande Street

· Rio Grande Street – Reduced to one lane in each direction from Moody Street to Main Street

· Power Avenue – Closed to through traffic from Moody Street to Glass Street

· Stayton Avenue – Closed to through traffic from Moody Street to Glass Street

· North Street – Closed to through traffic from Moody Street to Glass Street and from Vine Street to Moody Street

· Moody Street – Closed to through traffic from Nueces Street to Rio Grande Street

All businesses in the construction zone will remain open and accessible, and the public is encouraged to support businesses in the work zone. Through-traffic can avoid delays in the work zone by seeking alternate routes.
