Meet the Dietitian: Linda Crisp, RD, CSO, LD

Linda Crisp, a clinical dietitian at Citizens Medical, received her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics at the University of Texas. She completed her dietetic internship at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX. Linda is a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, a Licensed Dietitian with the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and has been board certified as a Specialist in Oncology Nutrition since 2008. She completed a graduate course on Phytochemicals and Human Health. In addition to providing inpatient nutritional assessment and intervention, with emphasis in oncology, geriatrics, and palliative/supportive care, Linda is a participant in the Tumor Board Series and serves on the Cancer Committee. She has been a guest speaker for area cancer support groups and authored articles on nutrition for the Victoria Advocate. She has used her “functional” Spanish for diet education in the hospital setting and at community educational events. She is an avid bird watcher and enjoys gardening, hiking, and skiing.
