Mardi Draw at the Victoria Art League

VICTORIA,Texas–The second annual of the Victoria Art Leagues Mardi Draw takes place on Saturday. It is an initiative to improve the technology at the Victoria Art League allowing students to have multi sensory experience when looking at art work.

“Contemporary art exhibits use sound and light and space and this is a beautiful facility and  we want to be able to bring in artists that have those kind of exhibits,” said Alana Sharp, children coordinator at the VAL.

It is a Mardi Gras activity with crawfish and beads and gumbo to raise money to update the technology at the Victoria Art League. There will be an art auction, silent auction and unlimited beer and wine as well as a live performance by a jazz trio. The event will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday February 22nd.
