Man stabbed Friday night near Queen City Park
Suspect arrested in stabbing
VICTORIA, Texas – Victoria Police say a 40-year-old man was stabbed in the shoulder area Friday around 9 p.m. near Queen City Park. Victoria Police responded to the area of 600 E. Warren Ave.
A witness helped lead police to the knife used in the assault. Authorities said the suspect threw the knife in a dumpster. The 21-year-old suspect was later found in the 2400 block of N. Navarro outside a church.
The suspect is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
