Man accused of robbing game room in Port Lavaca
On Tuesday, May 4, an employee was assaulted as a man tried to rob them.
PORT LAVACA, Texas – On Tuesday, May 4, a little after 12 a.m., Danny Sanchez Jr. was arrested and accused of trying to rob a game room located at a bar, once known as “La Esquinita.”
According to Deputy Johnny Krause with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Sanchez attempted to steal $4,000 while carrying an impersonated BB gun that only shoots pellets.
Sanchez has been charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest with a $50,000 bond. While in custody, he is undergoing a mental health evaluation.
