Man with 12 charges arrested after evading arrest

VICTORIA, Texas- Victoria Police Department posted the following statement on Facebook:

“At approximately 11:50 PM [Tuesday] night, a VPD officer saw a white Tahoe make several traffic law violations in the area of Lone Tree Rd and Ben Wilson St. The officer attempted to make a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver thought he didn’t need to stop, despite the flashing red and blue lights and sirens blaring!

The vehicle finally stopped on Harvey Ln. and you guessed it, the driver got out and ran.

Well, in an attempt to get away, he entered a house that was not his!

Other officers arrived and entry was made to the residence where the guy was located hiding in the attached garage.
He was identified as 41-year-old Christopher Davis and was placed under arrest.

Investigation revealed that Davis had methamphetamine, marijuana, and LOTS of warrants! Evidence also indicated that Davis was driving while intoxicated.
