Love day has a lovely forecast in store

VICTORIA, Texas – The cold front has slowed down so we didn’t see a lot of rain this morning, but hang on because it is slowly making its way to the Crossroads. Tonight will feature another incident of patchy fog across the Crossroads, with rain showers likely and lows in the mid 50s. Patchy fog and rain will linger into your Tuesday, with highs barely climbing into the low 60s.

Heading into the middle of the week, another cold front will approach our area and make it through Wednesday night. Lows will dip into the mid 40s with the passage of the cold front, and the rain will clear out with it. The subsequent days leading up to the weekend will be on the drier side.

Valentine’s Day looks like the perfect day to take your Valentine on an outdoor activity. Highs will remain in the low 60s, under sunny skies. Perfect for a picnic at riverside. Lows that night will barely make it into the 40s, as moisture returns ahead of another disturbance.

The weekend will see some isolated showers and thunderstorms due to onshore flow and an approaching front that will last into the beginning of the work week. Highs will creep into the upper 70s and lows will stay in the low 50s.
