Louise ISD teacher arrested for videotaping students while undressing

Eagle Lake Police Chief David Freeman says Thomas Clay Hosman, 45, of Eagle Lake was taking those videos of his students and posting them on the internet.
Eagle Lake Police Department and Colorado County Attorneys office received the information from the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children task force Tuesday. Eagle Lake PD arrested Hosman Friday morning at Louise Middle School. Hosman bonded out of Colorado County Jail Saturday afternoon on two charges of invasive visual recording. Hosman was a social studies teacher at Louise Junior High and coached girls track, volleyball and cross country. Louise ISD superintendent says Hosman took video of six students as they were changing their clothes.
“Obviously these things can come up out of no where. You look somebody in the eye on a daily basis and you develop a trust with them and sometimes that trust is breached. So we’re going to do everything in our power to take care of the children, LISD Superintendent, Dr. Garth Oliver said. Wharton County Sheriff Office and Texas Rangers are assisting with this ongoing investigation. If you have information regarding this case please contact Eagle Lake Police Department or Wharton County Sheriff Office.
Eagle Lake Police Department says the next step in the investigation is analyzing all of Hosman’s digital media and devices.
