Longtime Guadalupe-Blanco river authority chief ranger retires

Longtime Chief Ranger of the Guadalupe-Blanco River authority will retire this week.
Wilfred Korth has been with the river authority for 37 years.
He began his career in recreation management with the Guadalupe-Blanco river authority in November 1979 serving as a reservoir ranger in the Coleto Creek Recreation Division. He was promoted to chief ranger in August 1981. Korth developed, expanded, marketed and maintained the Coleto Creek Reservoir and Regional Park. Korth’s last day will be Friday, July 28th . It has not been released who will take his position.
