LeBron passes Jordan for 4th on NBA’s all-time scoring list
LeBron James passed Michael Jordan for fourth place on the all-time NBA scoring list Wednesday night during the Los Angeles Lakers’ 115-99 home loss to the Denver Nuggets.
Coming into the game needing 13 points to surpass Jordan, James got there in the middle of the second quarter, driving to the rim to reach 32,293 career points, one more than Jordan’s total.
He went on to total 31 points in the game, giving him 32,311 for his career so far.
That total places him behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387 points), Karl Malone (36,928 points) and Kobe Bryant (33,643 points).
His next opportunity to add to his career total will come Saturday, when the Lakers (30-35) attempt to snap a four-game losing streak by hosting the Boston Celtics.
