Lavaca county reports one new case of COVID-19
Lavaca county has ten active cases of COVID-19
Lavaca County, Texas – The Lavaca County Division of Emergency Management is reporting a confirmed new case of COVID-19 in the City of Yoakum. This case is a result of community spread, attributed to close contact with a COVID-19 carrier. The individual is isolating at home and following the quarantine guidance as issued by DSHS. State health officials will not confirm the age, gender, or any other identifying information.
As of 4:30 p.m. June 9, 2020, there are a total of 20 Confirmed COVID-19 patients in Lavaca County of which ten are active, nine are recovered, and one who passed away.
