Kory Kubecka Santa Run

VICTORIA–Christmas came early for more than a dozen crossroads kids. We spoke with Santa himself to find out how he and several others were able to make Christmas a little brighter for those going though a dark time.
Crutches is not a typical answer when you ask a child what they asked Santa for for Christmas. However we are not talking about typical children. These area kids have experienced burdens no child should have to endure and that is why Santa paid an early visit to 15 children in Victoria.
This year Santa traded his sleigh for a motorcycle and met with the guardians of peace motorcycle club for the annual Kory Kubecka Santa run which was established in 2007 to provide Christmas gifts for children being treated for cancer. It was named after Kory Kubeka who passed away at the age of 16 from leukemia..
indeed a priceless moment… The families.. Cherishing every smile they see on their child because they’ve seen worse days.
