July is Coming In Hot
VICTORIA, Texas — Happy Independence Day everyone! It certainly is hot as a firecracker out there right now, with heat indices in the 105 degree range. Make sure you drink plenty of water if you’re enjoying the beautiful day today!
As for tonight’s fireworks displays, I think we are in the clear as far as rainfall goes. It will be humid with temperatures in the low 80s, but the clouds should clear out just enough to not interfere.
The rest of the forecast period is looking just as hot as today, if not hotter! High temperatures will climb into the mid 90s with heat indices far exceeding that. It will be nice weather, with mostly sunny skies persisting, however, make sure you remember your heat safety tips.
— Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated
— Take frequent breaks in the A/C or shade if working outside
— Wear light-colored clothing
— Don’t forget to check the backseat for pets and children before you lock!
All in all, This week will be great pool weather, but not great for doing much physical activity outside besides that.
