Joint Special Election in Victoria county, includes two district bonds

VICTORIA, Texas – All registered voters who have not voted for the the Joint Special Election on Tuesday, Nov. 2, still have some time. Currently the county is holding this election with the purpose to adopt or reject eight constitutional amendments. Before this special election, eight joint resolutions proposed the amendments on the ballot. In the past, they were submitted from the 87th Texas legislature during a regular session in the state. The Victoria Independent School District voter approval tax rate election is on the ballot, while the district’s bond proposal is added to the ballot again. In addition, the Bloomington Independent School District bond will also appear on the ballot.
