JCPenny faces long rebuilding process after Hurricane Harvey

While most of Victoria Mall is under normal operations, JCPenny remains closed due to the extensive damage cause by Hurricane Harvey.

The department store has been closed since Hurricane Harvey hit, with damages to the roof, ceiling and floors. The store was also forced to liquidate most of their products due to water damage. Store officials say are working hard to open up their doors to customers.

“We’ve been in Victoria for 100 years, JCPenny has. And, we look forward to opening it up to our customers

The store hopes to reopen for customers by the end of the month.
