Jax at the Texas Zoo was busy blessing U-H-V rings for the big day.
The ring blessing ceremony has taken place each year since 20-17 with the exception of 20-20 because of the pandemic.
Kelsey Norgard/Director of Alumni Relations Annual Giving at the University of Houston Victoria: “Today we have Jax blessing our rings for our jaguar rings ceremony tomorrow. It’s a wonderful tradition here. The students can come and see Jax in his natural habitat looking at the ring box. And it’s just a wonderful time for our students who have worked so hard for this accomplishment and achievement.”
U-H-V graduates will wear their blessed rings when they walk the stage Saturday May 14th. Congratulations.
