Jaguars lose both games to OLLU Saints
UHV baseball goes down in doubleader to OLLU
VICTORIA,Texas–The UHV baseball team hosted Our Lady of the Lake in a doubleheader and it was all Saints in both games.
The Jaguars and Saints both scored a run in the first inning of game one, but the Saints would bring in seven runs in the second inning and six more in the third and fifth innings.
After the Jaguars scored their one run in the first, the Saints shut them down and the Jaguars did not score another run the rest of the game.
Tyler price started on the mound for the Jaguars, but only went two innings where he allowed eight runs. UHV had five different pitching changes throughout the game. The Jaguars lose 22-1.
The Saints came in game two and picked up where they left off in game one. The Saints scored six runs in the first inning.
The Jaguars score four runs of their own in the fourth inning but that’s all they will get the entire game. The Saints score a run in the fourth and three more in the sixth to defeat the Jaguars 10-4.
