A slug of tropical moisture streaming into the Crossroads will mean isolated showers through Thursday, then generally fair conditions will prevail as high pressure dominates through the weekend. Look for another weak disturbance to bring scattered showers and thunderstorms early next week, but the heat and humidity will stay with us throughout the next seven days. In the tropics, Eastern Pacific Tropical Storm Daniel has degenerated into a post tropical remnant low, while Invest 96E off the western coast of Mexico should become a tropical cyclone within the next few days.
