Isolated Coastal Showers this Afternoon; Otherwise, Partly Cloudy
More Heat/Humidity, Less Rain, through Saturday
VICTORIA, Texas — Abundant moisture and daytime heating have combined to allow isolated showers and thunderstorms along the coastal plains this afternoon as a large upper level high over the Southern Rockies keeps its grip on the Lone Star State. The showers and storms will quickly dissipate this evening and be even more scarce Friday and Saturday. Another upper level disturbance moves into range Saturday night, however, to bring additional showers and thunderstorms that will remain isolated to widely scattered through Monday. Thereafter, no additional rain is expected through midweek. Highs will be in the middle to upper 90s, with lows in the middle to upper 70s.
