Isolated Coastal Showers, but Heat is the Main Weather Feature

No Weekend Rainfall Expected

The Crossroads is scorched Earth once again, with only isolated coastal showers and a major rainfall deficit. Very dry conditions persist through the weekend, with the only reasonable shot at precipitation Monday and Tuesday of next week. Late next week a tropical system may develop and deliver much need rainfall, but there is considerable uncertainly about that scenario. In the meantime, expect fair skies with warm, humid nights and hot afternoons. Temperatures will exceed 100 degrees both Saturday and Sunday, the reach the upper 90s throughout the coming work week. Lows will remain in the upper 70s.
