Industrial Cobras Mason Roe signs with college
Cobras athlete signed to play basketball with the Hiram Terriers
VANDERBILT, Texas — Industrial Cobras duo athlete Mason Roe, played basketball and football in high school and has now signed to continue playing in the next level. Roe signed to play college basketball in Ohio.
Roe has been playing basketball his whole life and he said his first words was “ball.” Roe is going to play for the Hiram Terriers. He is used to playing in different states since he played basketball tournaments in California, Nevada, and Kansas. At first, his parents weren’t sure how they felt about him going to play so far away, but Roe said they have come around.
Roe has always been around the sport of basketball. hos father is a basketball coach. Roe is happy to finally make his dreams come true.
“They gave me the best offer, said Roe. I think its the best fit for me to go and pursue my talent. its always been a dream for me to play I’m college and it was the best for me to go and play.”
Roe continued saying he will miss high school. His favorite memory while playing for the Cobras was when him and his team beat the Edna Cowboys off a buzzer beater, his freshman year.
While in Ohio, Roe wants to get his teaching certificate in order to be a coach just like his dad.
