Increasing Clouds and Colder Tonight; Rain Chances Friday?

Generally Fair and Cool Weekend

Cooler and drier air filtered into the Crossroads today as a gusty north wind built high pressure into the area. A colder night is expected under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Meanwhile, an upper level disturbance now over the Eastern North Pacific will push across northwestern Mexico and into the Lone Star State on Friday. Its expected track will carry most of the associated rain and thunderstorms across North Texas, leaving the Crossroads with comparatively meager totals. Rain is expected here from late Friday afternoon through the overnight hours, leaving most of the upcoming weekend generally fair and cool. No additional rain is expected through the middle of next week. Temperatures will remain near normal, with highs in the 50s and 60s and lows in the 40s and 50s.
