Blizzard to impact the eastern Great Lakes

The eastern shores of the Great Lakes are getting battered by strong winds with gusts near 60 mph, heavy snow, and whiteout conditions. Snowfall could reach up to 3 feet with even larger amounts in higher elevations close to the lakes. The wind could also disrupt travel as far as the major hubs of the Northeast.
