Hurricane Preparedness Week 2020

National Hurricane Center Director Ken Graham Discusses Hurricanes and How They Impact the Texas Coast.

May 3rd through May 9th has been designated at Hurricane Preparedness Week by the National Weather Service. This week is a reminder that hurricane season is just around the corner, and now is the time to think ahead and prepare for a storm if one comes our way. Ken Graham, director of the National Hurricane Center, discussed with our own Trey Meynig the impact that hurricanes have had and will have in the future on our area. Graham also discusses how Hurricane Harvey actually could have been much worse, in addition to realizing the vital importance of always being prepared.
