Humidity and Warmth to Prevail Overnight and Much of Thursday

Thursday Aftn Front to Bring Storms, Wind and Cold

Fair to partly cloudy and warm conditions this afternoon will give way to a mostly cloudy and mild night with patchy fog. Thursday will be a time of significant change, beginning with mostly cloudy and warm but ending with windy, stormy and much colder. In fact, coastal Crossroads areas may receive upwards of four inches of rain by midday Friday. Expect the mercury to remain in the 50s on Friday, dropping into the 40s early Saturday. It appears the rain will end before Friday night outdoor events, but significant rainfall may leave playing surfaces soaked. A fair and mild weekend precedes another strong cold front Monday, which will bring numerous showers and thunderstorms that should persist through Tuesday. Temperatures may not rise above 50 on Tuesday.
