Huge rise in COVID-19 new cases in Victoria County in August
Over 1,300 more than in July
VICTORIA, Texas—COVID-19 daily new cases have risen drastically in Victoria County from June to August.
This information from Victoria County Public Health Department director David Gonzales. In June, 185 new COVID-19 cases in Victoria County, a drop of 286 cases from May. In July, 523 new COVID-19 cases in Victoria County, a one-month rise of 338 cases. But in August, 1,891 new COVID-19 daily cases in Victoria County, a rise of over 1,500 new cases in one month. There was an average of 61 new cases per day in Victoria County in August.
