Honor 361, O-FISH-all team with Nursery ISD to collect toy donations
VICTORIA, Texas — Honor 361 and O-FISH-all Business have teamed with Nursery Elementary students to donate toys to needy families this holiday season.
The superintendent of Nursery ISD says the students agreed to cancel their gift exchange, instead collecting toys to give to struggling families. About three hundred toys, games and winter gear were donated to the organizations, who will then deliver the donations directly to the families. O-FISH-all CEO Toby Cooley says it warms his heart to see the kids donating and giving to others.
“There’s a lot of dark in the world these days, you know? And, our main goal is to spread some positivity. And, being able to get the future generations involved and giving kids a role model and giving kids something to look up to and something positive to do… I think that goes a long way for them as well as for us.”
The donations will be delivered this weekend to ten different families to help make their holidays special this year.
