Highway 90 will be partially shut down in Hallettsville as large load passes through
HALLETTSVILLE, Texas — The Hallettsville community could experience traffic delays Saturday morning while a large load makes its way through the city.
The 17 and a half foot tall, 18-foot-wide, and 291 foot long load will be going through Hallettsville between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Lacava County Emergency Management advises that it will take longer than normal to travel through town. They posted on their Facebook page that lots of wires need to be lifted. “One major lift will be at Whitley Lumber at the red light. We will then venture on to Shiner from there.”
Highway 90 will be shut down in both directions while the load crosses the Lavaca River bridge.
