Heat bringing rain chances with it to the Crossroads

VICTORIA, Texas — Already on DeTar Doppler, there are some scattered showers and thunderstorms moving across the area. Don’t be surprised if you hear a rumble of thunder or see some rain drops before the sun sets this evening. This pattern of afternoon showers is expected to continue throughout the week, with small rain chances in the forecast nearly every day.

For your Sunday evening, expect partly cloudy skies and lows in the upper 70s. As you start your work week, the rain chances return with mostly sunny skies and a 20% chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm.

The rest of the week is looking great, if you can stand the heat. Mostly Sunny skies persist, with slight rain chances nearly every day, and highs in the mid to upper 90s. Remember to drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade or A/C if you work outside.
