Hearing over seizure of 138 head of cattle in Goliad County lasted over eight hours
GOLIAD, Texas – A hearing contesting the seizure of 138 cattle lasted over 8 hours Thursday at the Goliad County Commissioners courthouse.
It wasn’t until after several hours when Randy Farmer, chief investigator with the Houston Humane Society, was able to give his testimony and present evidence of animal abuse and neglect.
It was determined that the cattle would remain under the custody of the Houston Humane Society.
