Hallettsville wins Shiner Tournament

SHINER, Texas– Edna and Hallettsvile played in the championship game in the Shiner tournament with the Lady Brahmas winning it all.

The Edna Cowgirls defeated Sacred Heart and Karnes City to play Shiner Friday. With the win over Shiner the Edna Cowgirls headed to Saturdays wining bracket.

Edna defeated Flatonia on Saturday in the semifinals to reach the finals.

Edna and Hallettsville will meet again in the season in district play.
