Hallettsville PD find multiple types of drugs during traffic stop
HALLETTSVILLE, Texas — Hallettsville Police Deparmtent arrested a man after finding several different types of drugs in his car during a traffic stop early Wednesday morning.
At 12:27 a.m. HPD pulled over a car driven by 36-year-old Ronny Garza of Yoakum at the 200 block of South Main St. According to Chief Randal Schlauch a strong odor was coming from the car and during a search officers found:
More than 28 grams of crystal meth
More than 21 grams of powdered cocaine
More than 9 grams of crack cocaine
More than 4 ounces of marijuana
HPD originally pulled Garza over for a broken head light. Chief Schlauch said Garza was arrested with no incident and taken to the Lavaca County Jail.
