H.S. Soccer Results

West boys soccer played its final game of the season Tuesday night against Lamar Consolidated at Memorial Stadium. At the end of regulation, it was tied 1-1, with Eduardo Sanchez getting the Warriors’ goal on a penalty kick. West lost in the shootout, 4-2, so the Warrior boys finish the season with a 2-8-2 district record, 5-10-3 overall.

West girls soccer had its district finale against Lamar Consolidated at home as well. Zen Mckenzie had a hat trick as the West girls grabbed a 4-1 win. They finish the regular season with a district record of 7-2-3.

East boys soccer needed to win its last two games to get a playoff spot. After a 6-2 win over Calhoun on Tuesday, the Titans are halfway there, putting their district record at 5-5-1. Gustavo Garza had two goals for East.

East girls soccer needed to win its last two games to win the district title outright. However, Calhoun handed them a 2-1 loss on Tuesday. The Titans fall to 7-2-2 in district. Kaylee Brewer scored the Titans goal.
