H-E-B to serve 6,000 meals, in need of volunteers
It’s the season of giving, and H-E-B is preparing to give residents the opportunity to come together and enjoy a free meal.
The Feast of Sharing is an annual tradition H-E-B has done for more than 20 years, and it keeps growing every year.
“It’s just a special time for H-E-B and its partners to give back to the community, and want to invite the community to come out and spend that special day with us,” said Brown.
H-E-B Store Director Jason Brown says he’s been volunteering at the event for the past 13 years.
“Its an opportunity for H-E-B to give back to its customers that help serve us, and we want to make sure everyone has a fun filled day,” said Brown.
Hundreds of H-E-B partners and community volunteers will work together to serve more than 6,000 meals to Crossroads residents.
“We want to drive that number up, and serve as many meals as we can. Its delicious food, and it’s a good time with live entertainment,” said Brown.
The holiday meal will be on Wednesday, December 21st at the Community Center from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
