Guadalupe river water levels rise in just 24 hours

VICTORIA, Texas – When looking at a comparison of the Guadalupe river water levels from Friday, Oct. 15 to Saturday, Oct. 16, sky view 25 drone footage shows how much they’ve increased. Throughout the week, 25 News Now meteorologist team guessed the levels would rise at least 30 feet. When looking at the drone footage from Friday, the river’s water was rushing at a very fast pace near Riverside Park. When comparing the drone footage to Saturday, many roads throughout the park were inundated with flooded waters. These levels rose so high, all the way up to the top of some surrounding trees. Even some park trails were left partially covered.
