Governor Greg Abbott Issues Waiver To Allow Alcohol Delivery In Response to COVID-19
This is in response to how COVID-19 has impacted the hospitality industry
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has issued a waiver that allows restaurants to deliver alcoholic beverages to customers, however there’s a catch: you must purchase food alongside your alcoholic order for it to be delivered.
This includes beer, wine, and mixed drinks. The Governor also directed the TABC to waive certain provisions to allow manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers of alcoholic beverages to purchase or sell-back unopened product.
This is all in response to how the Coronavirus outbreak has affected the hospitality industry.
Once again: you MUST buy food in order to have alcohol delivered.
Happy Social Distancing!
