Goliad SO Still Searching for Missing Doctor, Neighbor speaks out

The “Goliad Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man reported missing by his family on Tuesday.

Doctor Glenn Layne Towery,56, a Victoria chiropractor, went missing Tuesday.
Bob Tillison, Doctor Towery’s neighbor of over 20 years says he was in shock when he found out his long time neighbor and friend went missing.

Towery was reported missing after he didn’t show up at his chiropractic practice in Victoria. He had several appointments scheduled with patients and it was unusual for him to miss appointments. Towery is a white male, 5 foot 10 inches tall and has thinning blonde hair.

“Sunday he was mowing his front lawn here and that’s the last time I remember seeing him. Doctor Towery was a good neighbor and a good husband as for as I know. He loved the lake, he was real proud of this place. I cant imagine him running off and leaving this place,” Neighbor, Bob Tillison said.

Tillison says nothing unusual happened before Towery went missing. Goliad Sheriff’s Office is focusing on finding his truck; a 2014 Ford F150 pickup truck, gray in color, with Texas license plate, HTV 2298. The doctor was last seen wearing shorts and a pullover shirt.

“At this moment we really don’t have a strong lead. The focal point is on that truck. That would have been the vehicle he would have left in and we’re hopeful if we find the truck that’ll give us a lead to find the doctor, Goliad County Sheriff’s Office, Capt. John Pape said.

If you have any information on Towery’s whereabouts contact the Goliad Sheriff’s office at 645-3451 or your nearest law enforcement agency.
