Goliad Girls Basketball Wins At Regionals

Goliad girls basketball is one win away from its first trip to state. The Tigerettes beat Marion, 64-43, in their first regional semifinal since 1982. Goliad, now 28-7, got five three’s, 22 points from Jade Reyna. Roxanne Morris with 16 points, 9-11 from the free throw line. Michalla Janssen scored 12. The Tigerettes now play in the regional finals Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Seguin high school. They will face Odem, a 49-47 winner over Poth. Goliad and Odem are co-champions of 29-3a.
