Goliad Football QB Looks For Big 2019
Morris Sees Experience Helping Tigers
Goliad, Texas — Goliad football, ranked eighth in Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Magazine state 3A Division I pre-season poll.
The Tigers, coming off of a 10-3 season in which they advanced to the regional semifinals, return six starters on offense, and five on defense. One of those retuirning starters, quarterback Cameron Morris, told our Sean Coffey how much his experience from last season will help this year.
“I think it’s really valuable, it’ll help me a lot to be ready for this year. I got an experience early, I’m not coming in this season as being a first-ever starter. I’ve been through this before. So I’ve got a little better chance I would say.”
Goliad football travels to East Bernard for their first scrimmage of the year a week from tonight.
