Generals take down Marshals in extra innings

The Generals were back at home again Sunday night, taking on the Texas Marshals at Riverside Stadium.

Some fans were rocking their Warrior’s Weekend jerseys that were auctioned off Saturday night. The Generals raised $16,000 to benefit Warrior’s Weekend.

On the field, it was all about defense. The game was scoreless through five and 1/2 innings, with the Marshals holding the Generals hitless through five innings. However, the Generals would finally get on the board with two runs in the 6th inning, then would go on to win the game, 3-2, after 10 innings.

The Generals wrap up their four-game home stand on Monday against the Marshals with free ticket night.
