Generals Get Lopsided Win Over Cane Cutters 8-8

Just One Generals Home Regular Season Game Left

The Generals are back home after winning five of the six games on their road trip.
I was at Riverside as the Generals faced the Acadiana Cane Cutters Thursday night. The Generals ran out to their spots with members of the Victoria Northwest Little League City and Area champions. Generals starting pitcher Gabe Sequiera from Sam Houston State, cutting through the Cane Cutters early, not allowing a hit over the first two innings. The Generals take it from there to win, 12-1. It’s their third stiraght win. Brazos Valley beats Texarkana, 12-11, to clinch home field in the TCL championship game. The Generals finish up the regular season against the Cane Cutters Friday night at Riverside.

Then it’s a quick turnaround for the Generals into the TCL semifinals.
The Generals will start the semis on the road Saturday night, game one will be in either Texarkana or Lafayette. Then the Generals get back on the bus to come back to Riverside for game two Sunday night at 7:05 if a game three is needed, That will also be at Riverside Monday night at 7:05.
