Generals bounce back with win over Bombers

In a battle of the top two teams in the Texas Collegiate League, the second-ranked Generals took on the first-place Bombers on Wednesday at Riverside Stadium. The Generals bounced back from their loss the night before with a 3-1 win over the Bombers.

Former East Titan Zac Leigh was the starting pitcher for the Generals. Leigh picked up the win, after throwing nine strikeouts and allowing one run through 6 2/3 innings. Donaldo Perez drove in two runs for the Generals, while Jack Kenley added another.
