Generals beat Twins for fifth straight victory

The Generals still haven’t lost since last August.

Coming off their second TCL Championship in franchise history the Generals have busted out of the gate in 2019, winning their fifth straight contest to start the season Sunday. The defending champs came from behind to beat the Texarkana Twins 10-6 on Sunday to improve to 5-0 on the young season.

After falling behind 4-0 in the first inning, the Generals slowly worked their way back into the game as they scored two in the bottom of the first, and two more in the third. They would add runs in the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings as they pulled away from second place Texarkana en route to a four run victory.

The Generals will look to make it six straight wins when the close out their series against the Twins on Monday at 7 pm.
